The Dorchester Reporter invites students in grades 6–8 to submit an essay for our Dorchester Day Essay Contest. Share your perspective on what makes Dorchester special: its people, neighborhoods, history, or your own experiences growing up here.
Winning essays will be featured online and in print, and cash prizes will be awarded to top submissions. Selected students will also be recognized as part of our Dorchester Day celebration.
Please note: Students must submit the below application, including parental signatures, along with their essay.
